175 lb. Alligator Gar

From the old website, but still amazes me we swim with these things in our local lakes and rivers!

Matt Kasner of Decatur, Texas shot this on June 5, 2013 with his bow fishing rig in the Trinity River.  175 pounds of pure beast! He said it took him a couple of hourse to actually get this guy on shore and in the boat.  I can’t imagine!
