2018 Wise County Hog Contest – Cutter Leader

Chris Walbom of Sadler, Texas had seen this hog on his game camera for quite some time before he finally got to see it in person on February 26, 2018 right at dark.  The hog didn’t go far from his tracks before Walbom managed to get a shot off. The hog only weighed 160 lbs., but had it’s “package” in tact along with over 7 inch cutters on each side as well as its wethers still in tact as well. By far the biggest I have ever seen in person!

EDIT from Chris Walbom: Just thought I’d let you know the Wiser Weight and Tusk World Records scored my boar for cutter record. He scored a 896.38 on their system, which places #2 of all-time. His cutters are longer then any other, but they factor total weight on as part of score. If he was 70lbs heavier he’d be #1.  http://wwtworldrecords.com/record-books/
