24 Hour Hog Contest – 2019
The Wise County Hog Contest was a success and some people made out with a pretty nice addition to their bank account, but that doesn’t settle good for everyone. So we have decided to have another 24 hour hog contest to help give everyone a second chance at some prize money. Last year’s contest ran very smoothly and quickly and we think it will run even smoother this year. There have been some thoughts and requests made since the last couple of contests and we have decided to do a couple of things different, but not in a bad way. Below are some of the changes to this year’s contest:
- 2 Man Teams instead of 4 (Can still have a max of 4, but it’s $100 per extra team member)
- Weigh-In is not going to be at Bono’s (They closed their doors)
- This contest is only over a 24 hour period, not a 2 night hunting like last year. 1 Full Night ONLY!
- We are only measuring one cutter, not both – in the event of a tie, earliest hog weighed/measured wins.
- This hunt is extended to hunting in Oklahoma as well, not just Texas.
