The 459# Hog

This was our worst case scenario for our 2022 Wise County Hog Contest. We never want to see a hog this big brought in during our contest. It’s discouraging, we know, especially to us that run the contest. The backlash was immense! This was in fact, the heaviest hog we have ever weighed. There were no signs of cheating from the team, we made sure to do everything by the books and even are going to polygraph all 4 of the team members. We have done our due diligence and will keep on to make sure the integrity of the Wise County Hog Contest doesn’t sway!

The video we made of us weighing the hog doesn’t do it justice… this monstrosity is a lot bigger than it looks. Absolutely crazy!
