- You can now get your Hunter’s Education Certification online. A company in Dallas is the first to offer it… and it sure beats sitting in a classroom for a couple of days!
- And if you are hunting on the LBJ or Caddo Grasslands this year, then your season will be just a little bit different. They have just announced their season dates and regulations.
- If you just happen to be in Baton Rouge, think twice before you go swimming!
- According to Field & Stream, the whitetail are not rutting yet, but the pronghorn are. I know Field & Stream is a great magazine and a great source for everything having to do with hunting, but have you ever seen rut start this early before season?

- I have never shot a fox! And this one has been all over the news since the Texas Tech vs. TCU football game.
- I think this applies to most everyone, but once opening season of dove hunting is over, everyone quits hunting. I haven’t heard a shotgun blast in a long time and I am usually surrounded by them.
