I live in Decatur, Texas (Wise County) and I love to hunt! I have always enjoyed hunting since I was a child and have many friends who share the same hobby. I have 3 kids who will be brought up to learn all aspects of the outdoors as well. I’m passionate about all aspects of hunting.

I started this website because I was receiving pictures of deer, varmints, ducks, and other animals that people here in Wise County would harvest and so I thought I would give this a try to promote and, I guess you could say, brag about what has been they've harvested. I decided I wouldn’t just share pictures and stories, but also let others know about different things happening in the outdoor world. It all began in Wise County here in North Texas, but has gone much farther, so much, that I now have a partner/best friend helping with the site and contests, Tres Poynor, whom you will read about below.

This website has also become the official page of the Wise County Hog Hunting Contest, which is a contest not just for Wise County, but based here. It is also a contest created by hunters, for the hunters. There is no other reason for it, other than to help get rid of the hogs and give a little bit of braggin’ rights as well.

I hope you enjoy the site, and send us your hunting pictures with a story… make em’ jealous!

I became a part of the hunting game early in 2013. As a child I grew up in Bridgeport, Texas (Wise County) hunting mainly dove and quail with my Dad and older brother. We raised and trained bird dogs and spent a lot of time shooting and reloading. Eventually my dad introduced me to whitetail around the age of 11 and I’ve been obsessed with every aspect of deer hunting since then.

I guess you could say hunting is in our blood. I also have a beautiful boy named Gavin. He loves the outdoors and God willing, will be sitting alongside us in a tree stand very soon.
