Been a while since we have posted anything so thought I would start with a DIY Project. I could think of all the different ways to make me a game camera stand, but I just couldn’t pin point which would would work best for me… so here is what I came up with.
Things you’ll need:
2×4 (4 ft. Long)
5 Gallon Bucket
Sack of Sacrete
Optional – Camo Spray Paint
-
Place the 2×4 in the middle of your bucket and pour the Sacrete in it.
Yep… that easy.
2. Pour some water in the buckets… doesn’t take much!
3. If you want use a level to make sure the boards are straight, or just eye ball it. Sometimes you just don’t need to waist the time leveling.
4. Poke holes with a piece of rebar or a long screw driver to help the water soak in.
5. If you want, spray paint them to look like a camo bucket with a stick coming out of it.
6. Just place your cameras at the desired height and set them wherever your heart desires.
I made on a little taller for the reason you can see below. And as you can see it never hurts to dig a little down to help keep it a little more steady, especially if you have hogs.
And the results are good so far 🙂
