R.I.P Ammo by G2R Ammo
I mentioned this bullet in one of my links a while back, but decided to do a post all on its own because of the hype and talk that has been going on about this “Last Round You Will Ever Need” I’m not going to do my own write up on it until I have shot them for myself, but instead give you some info from others who have… it looks like it would be a great self defense round and maybe even good on taking out some nuisance animals! The company who makes it, G2Rammo.com says the hollow point bullets have grooved, pointed channels that will cut through human tissue like a “hole saw.”
They went on to explain “this performance could prove to be very effective for law enforcement that may be in a situation where the target is behind such an obstacle whereas more energy will be carried into the intended target and not lost in the obstacle.”
They also claim the ammo will “stay solid in one medium but yet have the exact same projectile predictably react as a fragmenting bullet through a different medium without alteration of the projectile.”
Put more simply, this round will cause a LOT of damage.
